Insurance premium

I was assisted by Ms Violet Keoreng on 2021-02-28. Her service was purely outstanding and she had more knowledge about the product to the extent that she could give options to other product on car and household insurance. She was eloquent and command on language was on point.

I've been with budget insurance for sometime and my car and household insurance is covered under them. The reason for shopping around was to get a lower premium than what am paying now without compromising the benefits am receiving.

The Oneplan car and household insurance premium was more reasonable but the fact that courteously car could not be offered was quite a problem to me. When involved in an accident, courtersy car is quite important because what if the vehicle to be repaired would take long at the panelbeater and / or if the vehicle is written off. If the vehicle is written off, at least a person will have plenty of time to process claim and look for another vehicle. Lastly, am not impressed with the 35%excess fee. I will opt for a fixed excess fee. In case the damage to the vehicle costs more it means the excess fee will also be high. Imagine the damage is R50 000, R17500 will be the excess fee. During the accident, you are under an ordeal and it would not be fair again to be thinking of high excess to pay and again without courtesy car. Accidents are very stressful and sometimes occurs during the month when there's no other means to get cash.

I will opt for a car insurance that is comprehensive, with courtesy car hire and fixed reasonable excess fee.

With regard to household, I was quite impressed with the premium.
