contacted Oneplan again wondering if it would be necessary to get ANOTHER referral letter for the Specialist as I will require a follow-up visit to ensure everything ran smoothly with the procedure. (Even though I got a referral for the entire procedure). I was given the most ridiculous and ******** reason ever. The person told me: The reason that a GP has to give another referral is because a 'Specialist' does not study for nearly as long as what a GP does. A specialist only does a short 3 year course to become eg. a Gynae. For that reason Oneplan does not see them as 'real doctors' and for this reason a 'real doctor' must once again refer. <br> <br> Wow. What are you teaching the people working at Oneplan? That kind of ignorance is really disconcerting, never mind that it is a blatant lie. <br> <br> Let me inform you: Specialists study for approximately 10 years in total. Much more than a GP (GENERAL practitioner) as they are SPECIALISING! <br> <br> I can not believe that people working in the Healthcare industry do not know this, and much less care to inform themselves of this. I must be honest, since I started using Oneplan I have been disappinted time and time again.
