I would like to write a review about Oneplan Insurance had a bad experience paid +- R1400 for 3 months and when I wanted to do my first claim for my 3 months old baby for immunization One Plan was only willing to cover a R170 that's very poor of them, keep in mind I already did payments of R4200 and they want to cover only R170. I did a claim for me personally as the main member on 27 February 2025 the claim went through but my GP is fully booked and I can only visit on 3 March 2025 so they took back the money from the account and I had to pay out of my own pocket, they make all promises but when you need their services itz all excuses plus they don't even cover the full amount with the GP you must pay an extra R160 that's disgusting I have waisted R4200,I would not recommend them to anyone

Dear Leheno,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

We apologize for the circumstances surrounding your Hellopeter posting and regret any inconvenience this has caused. Please know that we take customer feedback seriously and use it to continually enhance our services and processes, ensuring we meet our clients’ expectations. We value you as our client, and your satisfaction is important to us.

We have acknowledged your complaint and attempted to contact you at the number provided, but unfortunately, we were unable to reach you.

To clarify, the benefits on our plans are subject to the stated cover limits based on the plan you select. If the charges for medication, GP visits, or other services exceed the stated cover limits, you will be responsible for the shortfall. On the Core Plus plan, which you selected, the Scripted Medication benefit is covered up to R170.00 per script, and the GP benefit is covered up to R400.00 per visit.

Please be advised that during the policy registration process, we clearly outline the cover limits for the benefits of each plan. Upon completing registration, a policy schedule is sent to the email address provided, where we encourage you to review the terms and conditions, including the cover limits, waiting periods, annual limits, and other benefits associated with your plan.

Additionally, when funds are loaded onto your Oneplan Claims card, they remain available for 48 hours. If not utilized within this timeframe, the funds are automatically reversed as a security measure. To access the funds again, you would need to load a new claim.

We hope this clarifies the situation, and we are truly saddened by your decision to cancel your policy with us.

Once again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and are committed to improving your experience with our services.

Kind regards,
Oneplan.
