I was given incorrect information about what I can use my plan for as well as where I may use my Oneplan card
I was given incorrect information about what I can use my plan for as well as where I may use my Oneplan card. I now have a denied claim and an outstanding payment I was unaware would occur as I was incorrectly informed by Ashleigh Liebrandt. I have taken it up with claims and forwarded them my conversation etc but am fuming at the *********** service amd incorrect and incomplete information I was given. I am considering settling this matter, giving my months notice and canceling my plan.

05 Oct 2021, 17:24Good day Bonita,
Thank you for taking our call earlier and allowing us the opportunity to further discuss the matter at hand.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached.
Kindly note that the funds for the pet med saving benefit were loaded correctly. The services rendered on the invoice for the purchase of the tick and flea control were purchased from a pet store and not from a Vet. As per our policy documents and the terms and conditions of the policy, due to the cover being a Pet Insurance product, clients are required to use the funds at a Registered Vet / Service Provider. Services rendered by persons not registered with the SA Veterinarian Council is a general exclusion on the policy and is stated in our policy schedule (Section 6.7).
Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. We will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions. Please note that this is by no means a ploy to refuse payment of the claim.
As per our telephonic discussion, we have since proceeded to escalate the matter and we will revert to you with the relevant feedback.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Kind Regards,
Oneplan
