Dear Mandi,

I trust this correspondence finds you well.

We acknowledge receipt of your complaint regarding the debit of your policy and your request for cancellation with full reimbur*****t. After a thorough review of your telephonic application and the email communication sent to your nominated email address, we have compiled our findings to provide clarity.

During your telephonic application you provided the sales agent with your bank account details and ID number, and confirmed the debit date as the last day of the month. The agent also confirmed, and you acknowledged, the inception date of 01‑05‑2026 and the premium amount of R1,286.88. The agent further explained the applicable waiting periods, and advised that your policy schedule would be sent within 72 hours. Our records confirm that this schedule, including the terms and conditions, was sent to your nominated email address on 11 March 2026.

During the call, the agent also explained the 7‑day cooling‑off period and the cancellation process available should you wish to dispute or cancel the policy. Our records indicate that no dispute was lodged within this period.

Please note that debit order reminders are not issued, as clients select their own debit dates. Premium statements remain accessible at any time via the Oneplan app. In line with the policy schedule (Section: Premium Refunds), the contract was established at application stage, and no further authority to debit is required once your application has been concluded.

Based on these findings, we conclude that the debit was processed with your consent, and therefore no refund is due under the terms of your policy. Should you wish to proceed with cancellation, you may follow the process outlined in your policy schedule (Section: Standard Conditions) by submitting a formal request to ***.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience this matter has caused and remain available to provide further clarity or assistance should you require it.

Kind regards,
Oneplan.
