Hospital admission denied
My friend Felicity Purdon was taken by Parameds to the Flora clinic after suffering a seizure. They stabilised her and upon wanting to admit her to run tests OnePlan refused to approve the admittance - reason was that she didn't disclose that she had seizures - I called and explained that she had never had a seizure before !!! - to which they rep**** that they would need a 2 year Health history from her doctor. WHY was this not requested when she took out the policy ? - if she got admitted for stomach cramps for example would you also say that she didn't disclose stomach issues in her application - IF you did not request medical history from a doctor upon her application that is your down fall - you believed her in her application when she listed High Blood pressure and now in an emergency situation you suddenly want 2 year history - I find this most ********* !!!!. We had to leave the hospital in the hope that another seizure didn't occur.
