HORRIBLE SERVICE

I had a terrible experience with Oneplan. The consultant that was helping me was actually friendly, professional and tried her best to help but I guess her company policies were the issue. I was ready to sign up for health insurance with Oneplan One of the questions asked for was if i ever had anemia. Initially i said yes without understanding what I was saying. When the lady later explained to me that this would mean a waiting period on my of 12 months for anemia I then explained to her that I was never diagnosed with anemia and that i only took folic acid when I was giving birth and that i had never been diagnosed with this and am not on any form of treatment of it. She then then said she ill have to first confirm with her underwriters and get back to me. She did so and called me within a few minutes and told me that she has checked and the underwriters have confirmed that its okay the anemia will not have a waiting period as it is not a pre existing condition and I only receive suppliments when I was giving birth. I then signed up for the policy and gave approval for a debit order. A few hours later the sales lady called me back and told me that after listening to our call the underwriters have decided that there will be a waiting period. I then told to please cancel the policy because I do not understand the exclusion. I mean almost half pregnant women have folic acid prescribed to them. I have sent two emails requesting an explanation for this but I have had no feedback. I have even requested an SLA and no response. Even worse i have received this email from them:

We regret to inform you that your Oneplan policy nr. ********** 00, has been cancelled. In terms of our policy wording, there is a 30 day (one calendar month) notice period. Your policy will be cancelled as of the 2018/11/30 and your last premium will be deducted on the 2018/10/31.

Please note that premiums are deducted in advance and should your premium be returned for whatever reason during your cancellation period, your cover will be suspended and no claims will be entertained.

Please contact us on ********** should you have any further questions.

Your sincerely Oneplan

What happened to the cooling off period? They are the ones who decided to change the terms and condition after I signed the contract.
