Fact Checking
Due to me being on SASSA and with the covid 19, my payout is only on the 4th of the month resulting in my debit order returning as unpaid.
As soon as I was able to bank my SASSA money I did a payment of my OnePlan account on the 5th of the month. I also sent an email to OnePlan indicating that my payment has been done and that I requested to please move my debit order to around the 5th of the month to ensure that the debit order will not fail again.
Today at about 11:30 I received a call from OnePlan regarding the outstanding payment and I told the person on the phone that I have already made a payment of the outstanding amount and that I sent an email requesting because of the sassa situation to please move the debit order date to the 4th or the 5th. The lady said she Can only make it for the 7th of the month, and I then agreed knowing that the funds will then be available in my account.
The lady on the phone then in a nasty tone of voice asked me but when am I going to make a payment? I told her a second time that I already made the payment. After putting the phone down, after about 10 or 15 min I received an sms stating thank you for the payment to the OnePlan account.
I am just wondering why she could not check if I did a payment before she had to rudely phone me and demand a payment from me? Also she could have listened to me when I initially told her that I already made a payment then she would not need to rudely request when I would be making a payment.
Thank you for the feedback as we take it seriously and use it as an opportunity to improve our service.
The concerns that you have noted have been investigated and coaching is being conducted with the consultant that you had spoken to. The payment date has also been amended to the 7th of every month as requested to ensure that we don't find ourselves in this predicament again.
Kind Regards
Oneplan
