do not use this insurance.
I would not recommend this insurance for any person who is looking for a trustworthy and dependable insurance company. It is cheap, but, that being said, you get exactly what you paid for. the sign-up process is all validated on an app and despite my having uploaded my pictures on the app, for months on end they would send me messages to upload the images, and had not been covering my vehicle due to the fact that their app could not take better pictures. despite that, they gladly deducted the premiums from my account every single month while offering no services in return. I Specifically commend Mr. Yaeesh Patel for his incompetence in dealing with the matter and advising me that all was fair in our dealings, despite them having deducted premiums for over a year without my car having any insurance. They are out for your money.
Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.
We sincerely apologize for the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached us, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. We do take customer feedback seriously to improve our service and process to ensure that we meet our client’s expectations.
Upon investigation, we discovered that there was a missed premium in January 2023, as per the policy terms and conditions we require images of the vehicle to be re-validated when premiums are not received, this is due to auditing purposes on our side and to prevent *****. Records on the system confirm communication was sent to you from the 02nd of February 2023 as a reminder to upload full and clear images of your vehicle due to the returned debit order.
We then received your vehicle images via the Oneplan App, however, due to the images being partially cropped, we could not underwrite the policy which resulted in us sending constant SMS communication as a reminder to validate your vehicle to ensure that you have cover.
Kindly note should our clients experience any issues with uploading their vehicle images via our Oneplan App, we do have an alternative option. Clients may validate their vehicle by visiting any PG Glass for an inspection certificate which must be sent to our Underwriting department and we will credit your policy with the cost for the inspection if you provide us with proof of payment thereof.
Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. The terms and conditions of the policy must be adhered to and app**** fairly for all clients. Please note we are governed by the FAIS Act and must apply the TCF policy to ensure all our clients receive fair service and cover.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope the above brings clarity to the matter. Kind Regards,
Oneplan
