24 Apr 2022, 17:14Good day Uthmaan,
Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.
We would like to offer our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused. We do have your son's best interest at heart. Kindly note terms and conditions of the policy must be adhered to and app**** fairly for all clients, please note that this is by no means a ploy to refuse payment of the claim.
Regrettably, the requested admission/procedure for the Con******* condition which is a condition existing at birth and often before birth or that develops during the first month of life, benefits one of our general exclusions, which are things not funded for by the Insurer. Unfortunately, this falls within the bounds of our very few excluded conditions under Section 7.17 of your policy schedule.
Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. We will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions.
We have acknowledged your complaint and we have escalated the matter to the relevant department. One of our consultants will be in contact with you to further discuss the matter at hand.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Kind Regards,
Oneplan
