Dear Natasha,

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us.

Upon review, we note that following your initial cancellation request submitted in July 2026, you accepted a retention offer, which included a premium holiday for August 2026. This premium holiday was successfully app**** to your policy, and the policy therefore remained active.

A subsequent cancellation request was then received in August 2026, and the policy has been scheduled to cancel effective 01/10/2026, in accordance with the policy terms and conditions. The policy states the following: Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to ***. There is a thirty-one (31) day (one calendar month) notice period for all cancellation requests.

Please also note that, as the July premium and applicable pro-rata fee remained unpaid, when the policy resumed in September 2026, a debit was due in order to recover the outstanding premiums. As a result, the transaction was processed against your account and no refund is due.

For clarity, your policy schedule states: "It is your responsibility to ensure that we receive your premium on the date nominated by you. We reserve the right to collect any failed or rejected premiums through double debiting the nominated bank account with the outstanding premium and the following month’s premium. Should the failed or rejected premium be collected through debit order, your premium will not be collected on the date that you have nominated, and you may incur additional bank charges for which you will be responsible."

Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. We will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions. Oneplan subscribes to its TCF principles and will take all reasonable steps to ensure fair and equal treatment of all our clients.
We trust this provides clarity regarding the premium collection and cancellation process.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention!

Kind regards,
Oneplan.
