********* with an FSB number

This company has being deducting money from my account for over a year and when it is time for me to go and visit an optometrist they have the guts to come to me and claim POPI Act , while on the phone call they told me they want me to send them a picture of my file in order for them to know what and why I had to visit the Dr , mind you I only used. It once and it was 5 months after I took their medical insurance. Anyone reading this . If you get a call from One plan or any of their affiliated partners run . Or maybe it's because I'm black and I'm supposed to be illiterate and a ********

Good day Itumeleng,

Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.

We sincerely apologize about the way you feel and for any inconvenience which has been caused.

A detailed invoice including the doctors stamp is required when claiming for day-to-day benefits. Once the funds have been utilized, we will require the detailed invoice for the claim to be finalized. As per our policy terms and conditions, it is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the claim invoices have been submitted to us. Should you wish to load funds for another day-to-day claim, we would require for the previous claims to be concluded before loading any further claims. The reason for this is for auditing purposes on our side and to prevent ***** as funds are loaded within 60 seconds on to your Onecard.

Kindly note that your Optometry cover has a 12-month waiting period from the date of the inception of your policy, the Optometry cover will only be effective from the 01 May 2022.

Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. We will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions. Please note that this is by no means a ploy to refuse payment of the claim. We do have your best interests at heart, and we will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions.  Please note we are governed by the FAIS Act and must apply the TCF policy to ensure all our clients receive fair service and cover.

We have acknowledged your complaint and we are dealing with it accordingly. We will be in contact with you at the requested time to further discuss the matter at hand.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Kind Regards,
Oneplan
