Corporate bullying when trying to cancel policy

I have been with Oneplan for many years, with very few claims, and very few problems with them, until it came to cancelling my policy. They have been uncooperative, and completely unhelpful, demanding, from one consultant, 30 days notice, and from another consultant, one calendar months notice. I was even advised that I need to give one 30 day calendar months notice. Just in case. It is important to note that this all happened after the fact, as I actually gave my notice in on the 3rd of July, which is the first business day of the month. They are arguing that my email was not dated the 1st, so they want to charge me for an extra month. This is in my opinion a prime example of corporate bullying, with a pedantic and childish approach to a process that was implemeted in good faith. Of course there is NO recourse to management, even when this is requested. I'm still hoping that common sense will prevail, but right now I will certainly never use them again, and I will certainly tell everyone who cares to listen, not to use them.
