Complete suspension excluded because car has mag rims.
This is the most devious insurance that i have ever had the displeasure of joining. 1st claim I had issues with their phone app. I called in and spoke to their technical department who told me that i can email them the details and pictures. The result:I was charged R2500 for NOT using the app. They also could not find the call recordings on the date in question. lucky for me i also record these things. and they eventually found the recordings. R21k damage and R13k excess at 10 % and lots of fights later reduced it to R8.5k at 10 % excess . I get my car back for the scratch i claimed. New policy documents excludes COMPLETE suspension because....... I have Mag Rims. Spoke to Thabo at underwriting who refuses to put this reason in writing or transfer me to anyone because everyone is busy. If you have mag rims and you are in an accident they are going to not fix the car because you have MAGS.just beware

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We do take customer feedback seriously to improve our service and process to ensure that we meet our client’s expectations.
Upon investigation we discovered that for your first claim, the accident occurred on the 30/08/2021 and communication was received on the next day. As per our policy terms and conditions its requires that clients take photos or a video of the accident scene and damaged car(s). Doing this at the accident scene will help us speed up processing your claim, and if we receive these images, through our Oneplan App only, as no other uploads will be accepted, while you are at the scene of the accident, we will waive your R2,500.00 standard administration excess, provided that the photos or video is uploaded correctly. Additional excess amounts are applicable due to the incident being a single motor vehicle accident and no other vehicles were involved. Due to this the excess and settlement amounts were done according to the percentage of cover that was agreed upon.
Our motor vehicle insurance will cover for the standard factory-fitted accessories tools and spare parts when they are fitted to the vehicle. Any extra's or modifications that is added and or done to the vehicle will be excluded at claims stage. Kindly note that the mag rims that were fitted into your vehicle were aftermarket rims and were not standard factory-fitter rims. The mag rims are bolted onto the suspension therefore the suspension is excluded from the cover. According to our policy schedule that was sent to your listed email address under General Exclusions (point 8.10) it states that we do not pay claims for consequential loss of any nature.
Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. Please note that this is by no means a ploy to refuse payment of the claim as we will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions.
