Claim remains unresolved months later

I have been with a onepet since 2013. Initially claims were a breeze but since underwriters have changed they have become unplayable with paying. They change the requirements/details needed to process a claim and I as a client only become aware once the claim is rejected... and the process of long phone calls begins. They do not keep your provider/Vet on your profile so each time you claim you have to provide all their details and not just once.... and more often than not you find out there is a problem when you try and claim, and you are told you cannot claim. My Vet cannot believe the problems I have with Onepet. I am reluctant to change to another Insurance, I had wanted to upgrade my plan but have lost faith in Onepet. This year in Desperation I PAID IN for a small claim, just to get paid out for a larger claim. Not a happy client at all!

Hi Leanne,

We do apologize for the inconvenience that you may have experienced. Kindly note that your veterinary has changed practice information and your new invoice submitted is missing some information. We have made contact with the vet to retrieve the necessary information in order to assess your claim again.

We are following up with the practice to ensure that your claim is assessed. In future, we would require a practice number/ vat number to validate practices. We will notify you once your claim has been assessed.

Regards,
The Oneplan Team
