Cancelation of Policy
I have phoned on the beginning of September to cancel my policy speaking to Thabo he advised me that it will be done. <br> On the 17 of Septmeber 2015 I spoke to another lady asking if my policy is cancelled she advised me that no it was not cancelled I then requested an email address to sent my request to. <br> I was given the address:<br> Rene? Francis van Rooyen <br> Sep 17<br> to cancel <br> Good day, <br> I would like to cancel my policy, as I will be going on my husbands medical aid for full cover as from the 1st of October 2015. <br> Unfortunately I wont be able to give a month notice as I do not have the extra funds to pay you and Netcare Medical aid. <br> <br> Please advise. <br> <br> Thank you<br> <br> Renee van Rooyen <br> <br> I then received and sms stating that I will be debited. <br> <br> I have not once used this medical insurance and I have been paying monthly on time.

Kindly note that your policy has been cancelled as per our standard terms and conditions which is 30 days.
Please see below the extract from our Policy Wording regarding cancellation:
1.4.5.2 Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to ***. There is a thirty day (one calendar
month notice period for all cancellation requests and a R100.00 (one hundred rand) cancellation fee will be
applicable.
