BULL DUST STORIES

I am paying every month for a service to be used, but when you use it they come withe clause to prevent you for using the service. My dog went to the vet 14th as he had a cough, then the doctor told us he has to come back unfortunately the next day for tests. But when i claimed for the 14th it got told to me that there is a 14 day waiting period before can claim again. What i don't understand it that your pets has a certain amount of claims a year, but when you use it it gets decline. Just answer me why do you pay for health insurance but you cant utilized/use it. I AM VERY VERY UNHAPPY AND DISSAPOINTED IN ONE PLAN

Dear Daleen,

Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached as we do take customer feedback seriously to improve our service and process to ensure that we meet our client’s expectations.

We have attempted to contact you on the listed number; however, it was to no avail.

Kindly note that a vet consultation and prescribed medication will be covered under the Casualty benefit up to the respective cover limit of R1400 on the Classic plan and your fur-baby has 4 Casualty Benefit claims per year.

According to our policy schedule, it states that for Casualty claims, you may claim for a Casualty event up to the claim limit per event with a fourteen (14) day waiting period between the initial event and the next event, however, you may claim for follow-up visits for the same event until the event limit has been reached within a period of 14 days ‐ for example, if your limit is R500 and your previous claim was only for R250, you can still claim another R250 for the follow-up vet visit for the same issue. You may not claim for the same event under a new cover within the fourteen (14) day waiting period.

Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. The terms and conditions of the policy must be adhered to and app**** fairly for all clients. We do have your fur-babies best interests at heart, and we will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions. Oneplan subscribes to its TCF principles and will take all reasonable steps to ensure fair and equal treatment of all our clients.

Kindly provide us with a suitable time or an alternate contact number to contact you as we would like to provide you with more clarity on the above matter.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon
Kind Regards,
Oneplan

Dear Daleen,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Kindly note that certain cover limits apply, and once the cover limit for the Vet visit has been utilized you will only be able to claim for the same condition after 14 days of the initial event since you have already used the full R1400 from the Casualty benefit.

Records on our call log reflect that your contact number goes busy when we attempt to contact you. If you have the True Caller app downloaded on your phone, it could be rejecting our calls to you.

If possible, kindly provide us with an alternative contact number so that we may further clarify the matter.

Kind Regards,
Oneplan
