Beware of ONEPLAN its absolutely useless

It has been a misery for my mother from day one using this cover and that should have been a red flag. Firstly its been stressful from claiming to using the app. Then the worst is that my mother has been admitted to a public hospital right now yet she pays her premiums without delay every month. The consultants are horrible to deal with. I was advised that we need a letter from a doctor In order for them to authorize, I mean seriously does it make sense for an ambulance to start by the doctors office to take someone to hospital. Getting to hospital Mediclinic does not even recognize OnePlan and that is the hospital they recommended as part of their network. What a disaster.

Hi Thembi,

Thanks for taking our call and allowing us an opportunity to resolve this.

As per our discussion with your mom the authorisation was not granted as there was a pre-existing condition related to this from the inception of the policy.

To process a claim for out of hospital claims, you may use our new and improved Oneplan app available on the android and IOS platform. With the App you are able to load claims, view policy information and your cover limits. However if you are unable to get through you can always call our customer care line on *** select option 2 for further assistance.

Kind Regards

OnePlan

it was the first thing we asked the doctor and it was confirmed that her nose bleed was not related to high blood. I am not going to have this argument with you when Cleary no investigation took place. My mother will confirm her withdrawal once she is discharged. Thanks.
