BEEN RIPPED OF BY MEDICAL INSURANCE ONE PLAN
We took a medical plan which was advertised at 700 odd rands but thT ended up costing us about 2900 per month They then sprung a 3 month waiting period on us building up about a 9k profit from us and they took over 2 monyhs to send the card which was supposed to arrive within 15 days and then the s...t hit the fan, my wife ate something that she turned allergic to We loaded it onto the card and then went to the doctor where she was given a script for an anti histamine drug to stop the swelling and itchiness of the skin which had turned red all over her body These bright sparks have got a nurse who dictates who gets paid and if you get paid and she knows s..t about drugs cause they reject a payment of 170 on the basis that the nurse thinks ghe drug is to treat insomnia Now consider they have built up 9k and won't pay 170 so we have been caught but canceled policy immediately PLEASE DONT GET CAUGHT LIKE WE WERE 9K AS PENSIONERS IS A HELL OF A LOT OF MONEY

Regrettably, the prescribed medication benefits one of our general exclusions, which are things not funded for by the Insurer. Unfortunately, this falls within the bounds of our very few excluded conditions.
Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. We will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions. Please note we are governed by the FAIS Act and have to apply the TCF policy to ensure all of our clients receive fair service and cover.
As per our telephonic conversation we have proceeded to cancel your policy, you will receive an email with confirmation of this.
