Beaudene Laing - Best service i have received in my little over a year of using One Plan Pet Insurance, unfortunately to little to late. I do not recommend taking their Pet insurance at all, as you can much rather put your monthly premium into a savings account, to assist with paying for any vet visits etc, As every single vet visit, emergency visit ends up costing you more than what they cover. My monthly premium has cost me more than what they have covered in the time i have been with them. I have cancelled my cover with them now.

Kindly note that the Classic Plan has day-to-day and In-hospital benefits. The plan includes a Pet Med Savings benefit that may be used preventative care claims and has a cover limit of R750. Should clients request for more cover, they can choose to add on the Pet Med Booster.
The Casualty benefit has a cover limit of R1300 and is limited to 4 Casualty benefits per a year. A vet consultation will fall under the Casualty benefit claim, and should the vet bill exceed R1300, unfortunately the client will be liable for the difference as claims are paid up to the respective cover limits. The Pet Med Savings and Casualty Benefit falls under our day-to day benefits and differentiates from the In-Hospital cover limits.

There are annual cover limits on all our cover types. Once the annual cover limit has been exceeded, the cover limit benefit will renew on the anniversary of your policy. Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. Please note that this is by no means a ploy to refuse payment of the claim. We do have your fur-babies best interests at heart, and we will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions. Oneplan subscribes to its TCF principles and will take all reasonable steps to ensure fair and equal treatment of all our clients.
We have acknowledged your complaint and we have escalated the matter to the relevant department. One of our consultants will be in contact with you to further discuss the matter at hand.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Kind Regards,
Oneplan
