Be very weary of OnePlan Pet Insurance
Signed up with them last year. 3 valid claims now on a pure bread Ridgeback, only one partially paid, with me having to fork out thousands of Rands out of pocket. Just be very careful before signing up with them, they will find loopholes to avoid paying you out.

06 Jun 2025, 14:47Dear Alexi,
Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.
We are sorry to hear of the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached us and we do apologize for any inconvenience caused. We do take customer feedback seriously to improve our service and process to ensure that we meet our client’s expectations.
We have acknowledged your complaint, and would like to clarify that the day-to-day claims on the policy have been reviewed subject to the stated cover limit of the benefit as per the plan. The Admission claims were rejected due to you still being within the 12-month waiting period for con******* conditions. Furthermore, another admission claim was covered under the Casualty benefit subject to the stated cover limit of R1400.00 as the information provided for the claim did not include a conclusive admission/procedure.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and we hope that this provides clarity on the matter.
Kind Regards,
Oneplan.

06 Jun 2025, 15:22Good day,
The first claim of R22 000 was totally rejected. The 2nd claim for R5358, payout R1400. the 3rd claim for her spaying R4354 - nil paid out....anyone can see that it is pointless having a top rated insurance plan that repeatedly finds excuses not to pay out.
Buyers beware, I will now be cancelling my policy with OnePlan as they are clearly not interested in fair treatment, despite their empty promises when they sign you up.
