BAD SERVICE

On the 21/3 my husband had a stroke and was rushed to mediclinic. Oneplan's phones were not working and I was unable to get authorization. So I had no choice but to pay the clinic as aprivate patient. I paid for the admission, ER consultation, MRI, and the physician that took over my husband's case.

Eventually late in the afternoon of the 21/3, after sending repeted emails, someone called me and said they would send claim forms as it was too late for a hospital authorization. A lady by the name of Lillian called me and told me that the phones had been out of order.

After many calls and a lot of pressure from us, I got refunded the clinic payment.

I have sent all the documents that Oneplan requested, clearly marked with the accounts that I had paid personally.

On the 2/5 I called them again to find out why I had not been refunded the amounts I paid and found out that Oneplan had paid all the people I had paid, again, instead of refunding me! The lady that answered my call PROMISED to call me back within a few hours, well its now three days later and I have not received any calls or even an email.

This is terrible service and I do not recommend this company to anyone. This is our first big claim with them and its just been frustrating and they are a bunch of *****.

Before anyone answers me on this review, please go and listen to all the recordings of my numerous phone calls and see how your telesales people lie to your clients.

I am now having to call all the service providers myself in order to claim my money back. This is very very difficult with a husband that is recooperating from a stroke at home.

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ONEPLAN TO ANYONE.

Hi Carla,

We are very saddened to hear about Lance's stroke and hope he is getting well.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this whole ordeal.

As per our telephonic discussion, please note that the accounts received do not have valid proof of payments attached to them therefore they were processed to the providers and not as refunds.
We have contacted the service providers to obtain the proof of payments and will reprocess the claims to the remaining outstanding service providers up to the cover limits on your policy.

Kind Regards
Oneplan
