BAD CLAIMS PROCESS

On the 04th October I rushed my partner to Linksfield Hospital.<br> I was told that the hospital's radiology department didn't accept One Plan Medical Insurance so I had to pay for the scans myself - I phoned One Plan and told them the situation and they said no problem, pay the money and we will reimburse you. NOTE - THE SCANS COST R 3 396.00 PLUS I HAD TO PAY R900 ENTRANCE TO CASUALTY!!!<br> <br> On the 12th October I submitted the claim - I phoned numerous times after that to follow up and had to keep sending the claim as \THEY DIDN'T RECEIVE IT"!!<br> In November we were told the claim would be paid by the first week of December - we are STILL waiting!!<br> Today when my partner phoned to follow up we were told THEY DIDN'T RECEIVE THE CLAIM - funny how that slip was in the same email as the claim for the R900 Casualty Entrance and we received that payment at the END OF NOVEMBER after a struggle!!<br> <br> Shocking how they are quick enough to debit your account of the R995 monthly premium but cant pay the money back that they owe you!!!<br> <br> FOR THOSE OF YOU THINKING OF JOINING ONE PLAN - DON'T!!!<br> """
