*********** and Non-Professional.
I made a claim for over the counter meds. I was supposed to get R170, so I made an online purchase that came to R240 which included other things. I paid this with my bank card as I couldn't pay with their card online. Later when I tried to withdraw it kept declining and I ended up getting so much back charges that I was only able to withdraw R130. After submitting my claim and the regecting it without doing their due diligence, they finally approved but told me I owe them. The meds in the invoice cost R150. 90, my claim was R170 but I was only able to get R130. Now today am being told due to the other items in my invoice they are rejecting my claim and I owe them about R30. But I don't get how do I owe you if I got less money than what my meds came up to. Been trying to explain this and the lady literally closed my call while I was busy explaining.
Not only is this team *********** in doing thier due diligence but they are not able to read and do simple math. How do I get to owe you while I got less than what I paid? I am in bed sick now and not able to put in a claim due to this. Each claim from you guys is met with incompetence and lack of professionalism I questions if laws are even followed. It might be little money but the frustration met each time is just a lot and not worth taking this insurance. Am definitely leaving them.

We have reviewed your complaint and would like to clarify that the cover limit of R170.00 for the OTC benefit was loaded into your Oneplan Claims card. As per the card transactions, you then attempted to utilize an amount that was higher than the available amount on the card twice and this led to bank charges of R8.50 each. You then went on to withdraw the available funds, and this came with a charge of R14.00 for the withdrawal. The invoice you submitted was reviewed and approved for the amount you withdrew, leaving the bank charges to be accounted for as the fees were taken from the cover limit of the benefit, whereas you are liable for the charges. This is why the fees had to be paid back to Oneplan to recover the rejected amount.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope to restore your experience with our services.
Kind regards,
Oneplan.
