Unacceptable handling of defective product – replacement promised but not delivered

I purchased a 2-in-1 415W 600ml Rechargeable Cordless Vacuum Cleaner & Mop from OneDayOnly. Shortly after purchase, the unit became defective. I was promised a replacement, yet the same faulty unit was sent back to me without repair.

I had to go through multiple return cycles, facing long delays and repeated inconvenience. Despite my clear communication and evidence, the company pushed for a refund instead of honoring the replacement. Adding to this, the same product was advertised on their website while claiming no stock was available.

This experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and poorly managed. I urge OneDayOnly to handle defective products responsibly and provide fair resolutions to customers rather than defaulting to refunds.

I will also be pursuing this matter formally under South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act.
