Returning an item
I bought an Eiger espresso machine on a onedayonly special. The machine was faulty out of the box and submitted a return immediately.
Onedayonly forces clients to submit a video of the problem before even returning the item, which was odd (and maybe speaks to the bad quality items they sell). Anyway, I recorded the fault and submitted the video.
Then I was informed that the distributor would first inspect my video before they would even think of accepting my return. I protested this as this was ridiculous. Eventually I got them to pickup the return.
Today I followed up on my return (7 working days in) and was once again being warned that the distributor will first inspect the product and will advise within 4 working days.....
This is absolutely absurd! I have proven via video this product is faulty and followed all their instructions just to be told that they will decide whether they want to accept the return? I do not want this faulty product! I want my return processed and refunded. The consumer has rights too. I cannot believe that a company would treat their customers in this manner.
