**** products sold on OneDayOnly

I have been a regualr customer of this shopping site, but I guess you only discover the true customer service when you have an issue. I purchased a 'Busby"handbag for my mums. My mum lives in Durban and I live in CT so never had the opportunity to see the bag until this January when visited CT. To my dismay, the bag had the following issues 1. it was plastic and not leather as advertised 2. poor stitching as created folds/creases on bag 3. the badge itself looked different to other Busby products I had when compared---> hence to me was an obvious **** which I paid over R1000 for !! I notified One day and they collected bag. There was not resolution as said that it was past 6 months - whether **** or not the outcome was based on the fact was pat 6 months old. Conclusion 1. is that there is no vetting of products sold on this site 2. being from the service industry for over 20 years, I know exceptions to rules on cases like these can always be made and is the added touch that will ensure customer keep returning even though they have had an issue which oneday was by no means willing to do
