OneDayOnly - The #IsWhatItIs Online Store
I would like to make customers aware that this is the 2nd time I order a product from OneDayOnly and receive a notification 5 days later that now suddenly the supplier has run into stock shortage.
The email goes " Hey you know that product I asked you to buy a week back, and gave you sweet discount on to lock you in the deal, yea I do not actually have that product, but here me out, I have this different product you can buy, or I can just give you your money back"
Be weary of businesses who do not have customer service at their core.
While we are at it, can I just say that a standard shipping of 5 to 10 business days for an online company in the 21st century is absolutely unwarranted. (If the shipping was free, sure). It seems like the company wants to run out of stock and wants to disappoint customers.
So lets draw a time line, the deal is valid for 1 hour (Lunch time deal), therefore at 14:00 OneDayOnly knows cool we have 100 products ordered. Run to the supplier / warehouse and say hey we sold 100 products. Now we are at day 2 - packing the product and contacting the courier. Now were at day 3 where the courier receives the package and by day 4 delivers. I have no idea what a company needs to do with a product for 5 days before shipment. It indicates a weak internal control environment and a weak ICT environment.
When is the customer service going to change from "It is what it is" to You know what we are a disaster, but how do we become the best.
