Never buy anything from One Day Only or HP products

I am a pensioner that does consulting from home, I rely heavily on my laptop and printer. I bought a HP printer from One Day Only as a standby and because it was a bargain on the day. When my current printer packed up I did not concern myself as I had this new HP printer. However that is when the nightmare started. I got two experts who I paid to assist me as I could not get it going even though I am an Engineer. Both of them confirmed that it must be faulty. I logged a return to ODO and offered to take it to the agents. ODO and HP confirmed that there is no South African support for HP and I must contact this support number. A person in India answered and promised to ask someone that could assist me technically. Nobody called me back and after three calls I eventually spoke to someone that knew the printer and after guidance from her she confirmed that the printer is faulty and confirmed it by email. I forwarded it to ODO and although they said that I must get confirmation from HP Support they now insisted that it must be taken to the local agents for confirmation and they would collect it. I had emails from 3 different people promising to resolve it but nothing was done during the past two weeks. They do not respond to my emails and I still have the printer. This all happened during the past 3 weeks with no progress at all. Do not buy anything electronic from One Day Only and never buy any HP products!
