Dishonest dealing

I recently purchased a SERTA bed on a “one day only” deal on the 26th November 2021 (Black Friday). The deal included a SertaPedic Bella Continuous Coil Technology Pillow Top Flip Free Bed Set with 2 High Density Memory Foam Pillows and a Waterproof Mattress Protector. The bed and two pillows were delivered to my complex on the 10th December 2021 without my knowledge. I was away and only returned on the 12th December 2021. I was informed by the security guard of my complex that a bed was delivered in my name. Upon inspection of the goods, I found that the mattress protector was not included.

I emailed One day only immediately to advise them of the error. I have only received email correspondence insisting that all items were delivered and now I am being told that the supplier is short on staff and cannot attend to the matter yet.

There has been a constant back and forth of this issue without resolution and I would like to lay a formal complaint.

Included in my order with the sertapedic bed were 3 other items that were delivered separately, I have one day only was able to notify me of delivery on all other items but strangely not on this one.

There were 4 items purchased on this invoice I was advised that as soon as my items were sent for delivery, I would be notified I was notified when the first part of my order was sent for delivery I was notified when there was a delay with the toilet paper and sent a voucher I was notified when the toilet paper was out for delivery I was NOT notified when the bed was sent for delivery – the biggest and most expensive item on my order that should have included delivery into my unit was left unattended over a weekend in the storeroom of my complex. I was not contact by the courier company to notify me that my order had arrived and I did not sign in receipt of the items.
