Dishonest Advertising, Snail-Pace Resolution

<p>I consider myself to be a regular OneDayOnly customer as I have bought from them on multiple occasions.</p> <p> </p> <p>I recently bought some luggage from OneDayOnly. The luggage was advertised as being a "68cm spinner". When the luggage was finally delivered, the bags were much smaller than advertised. I contacted the Customer Services department to ask they send the correct luggage. There was a lot of back-and-forth, with them asking on three separate occasions for me to send photos of the luggage. How many photos do you need and why can't they specify exactly what is needed right at the beginning? It would have saved a lot of my time.</p> <p> </p> <p>OneDayOnly is now claiming the correct luggage was delivered as the suitcases measure 68cm across the diagonal. This is blatantly dishonest. It is standard practice for the size of luggage to be quoted as the height (excluding wheels). See for example this site: http://www.americantourister.co.uk/supersize-4-wheel-spinner-68cm-medium-suitcase-fuchsia/product-en.htm</p> <p> </p> <p>I was expecting a bag 68cm in height and got a bag that was only 55cm in height.</p> <p> </p> <p>At no point when the product was advertised did they make it clear that the bag is 68cm across the diagonal - probably in the hope of cheating customers with the false expectation that the bags are larger than what they are. I lost patience in resolving the issue and asked OneDayOnly to collect their delivery and return my money with the delivery costs. I've yet to hear from them.</p>
