Definitely wouldn’t recommend purchasing from them

Terrible service. I ordered a set of bar stools and they were delivered damaged on the 3rd of December. Immediately logged them for return and they were collected on the 8th of December.

I waited a week and when I whatsapped them (because they don’t have a customer service line and if you search for one you’re met with this attempt at ‘Gen Z humor’ message but is just just ridiculously condescending).

The woman I spoked to was kind but told me that when they collect the item they usually just ‘go dark’ while assessing them. Which means no confirmation that they received the item and no updates whatsoever. Sounds ridiculous but okay.

I give it another week and I try and get hold of an agent via WhatsApp again. They acknowledge me, I send my message and an hour later they give me the same story about the item being assessed and before I can even respond they immediately end the chat. What beautiful service hey?

Yesterday I thought I’d try again because I’m still out over R1400 and don’t have bar stools in the kitchen. The agent texts me and I give them my explanation and they tell me they will check for me and has never gotten back to me yet.

WhatsApp is clearly inefficient for customer support and One Day Only needs to reevaluate their service and just give me my damn money back.

I wouldn’t recommend making big purchases from them because if your things are damaged, they take forever to get back to you unless you’re asking for updates yourself, and even then you may not be successful.
