BEWARE: ONE DAY ONLY SELLS *****ULENT APPLE PRODUCTS

On 08/03/2023 I placed orders for 2 iPhone 11 units from OneDayOnly. I dropped one and could not repair it or write a letter allowing us to claim from insurance since the IMEI number on that phone was registered as a green iPhone and the unit is black. This raised some alarms with the iStore since they considered it *****ulent. OneDayOnly assisted me with the case and offered for me to return the unit and get a full refund. The second iPhone 11 now has a screen issue. We took it to the iStore and were told in the same manner that the IMEI of the device is registered as green even though the phone is black in colour. The technicians said because this mismatch is considered *****ulent, they will not repair the device. I requested to return this second unit in exchange for a full refund on 23/09/2023 and OneDayOnly first asked for more images of the device, to which I obliged and then went silent. When prompted again they responded that the device is out of the 6-month warranty, and they refuse to take it back.

Warranties exist to protect consumers against manufacturing defects, this however, is not a manufacturing defect, it is *****. I have been sold a *****ulent device by this company and cannot get my money back, the excuse that this device is out of warranty is dishonourable, considering it is just a week out of warranty. OneDayOnly continues to sell Apple devices on their online store and I feel a duty as a consumer to inform others that these devices may not be genuine and might only be discovered to be *****ulent later on. Fellow consumers, please be wary. Please also be aware that if you insure these devices and they break, insurance will not cover the replacement costs since Apple will not write a letter of no repair for a *****ulent device. You’ll be better off paying in the slight difference to get a genuine device from Apple from the start.
