Omoda Jaecoo Cape Town City is not even deserving of one star
This is the WORST car dealer by far, the service, or lack thereof, is appalling! They make empty promises, and just don't give a flying whatever about their customers. We purchased a vehicle from them not too long ago; my husband saw the car he wanted online, reached out to them, and Lee (Bradley) was quick to call him back. They advertised the car with cruise control, it has no cruise control; you would think that the logical thing would be to replace the missing hubcap BEFORE putting the car up for sale; he didn't even bother telling my husband about that; my husband noticed it, and Lee promised to have it replaced. We put a holding deposit down on 7 March after Dean told us that he would remove the on the road cost, but when we got the quote, the on the road cost was added - who operates like that???? We were sent from pillar to post, and kept getting excuses about being new to the company. Last Tuesday, 11 March, Lee said it would take 3-5 working days before they would get the hubcap, today is 27 March. We were charged for smash and grab, Dean assured us the car had smash and grab, but when my husband took it to Glasfit, they confirmed there was no smash and grab...what the hell?? the printed registration, when we collected the car, was actually the previous car owner's registration number, we were told they were sending the car for a valet, but the car had a stench when we collected it, it smelled like something had died in that car. I even found a used serviette in the cubbyhole. What type of circus is this? We've had enough of these people, and seriously regret purchasing the vehicle from them - we paid a deposit of R200000, tomorrow it will be a week since my husband collected the car, but to date we have: -no hubcap -no smash and grab (we actually don't want them to do it, they must reimburse us) -no registration number, so my husband is unable to renew his permit for his vehicle -the car wasn't ready on collection day, we had to wait for someone to put fuel in the car, then had to wait on the stupid ribbon to be placed on the vehicle for pictures I called there yesterday afternoon, wanting to speak to the person in charge. Joanne called me back, and assured me that she would call today and give me feedback, she NEVER CALLED; I called her after 16h00, she told me her guys were in contact with my husband, but no one made contact with him. She never called me back, I called her TWICE after she promised to call back, and she ignored my calls, and she's supposed to be in charge of operations there? Do yourselves a favour, call Hyundai Paarden Eiland and VW N1 City, those people know how to treat customers, get some tips from them, because your office if failing dismally!!! I hope this message reaches Hans Greyling, he needs to be made aware of how people are operating at this office.
