Unfair Ombudsman
<p>Good day. I kindly seek assistance with my matter that was finalised by ombudsman C25/17F. I fail to understand how can the rejection be upheld by ombudsman just because Officers from SAPS wrote statements that I reported " a car as ****** "whilst there is no statement on my side in the docket confirming their statement. 2 The ombudsman states that I must dispute the statements made by police in a court of law, the matter was in court and I was not prosecuted due to no evidence against me.Which means I never reported 'a car ******". 3 I never reported the arrest because the car in question was not mine and I didn't have information about a car that was ******. </p> <p> </p> <p>I would gladly appreciate if I can be allowed to provide the full copy of the docket to ombudsman so that I can prove my matter since now even the shortfall( regent) is rejecting due to Santam rejecting and the ombudsman doesn't give me a clear path since I am also insured by Regent.</p> <p> </p> <p>Kindly relook at the matter since all evidence given about a car ****** doesn't relate to my car which was in an accident and there is no statement made by me Mr A Chonco. </p> <p>I also want to know how is the accident report and claim form not correspond</p>

We are aware of your matter and it was discussed at the highest levels.
As you should probably be aware, we cannot discuss merits of matters on this platform.
Also, as pointed out to you in our letter to which you refer, if you hold the view that you have a case against the insurer, seek legal advice and proceed in accordance with same.
That the ******** case was not pursued further, has no bearing on the civil matter with the insurer as there are completely different considerations and standards of proof involved, apart from the parties and the dispute being different.
Our office cannot assist you.

I kindly seek your assistance regarding my matter. I think I have supp**** the Ombudsman with enough evidence on my side.
The Ombudsman has taken the matter up with Regent but nothing is happening.
I know Candace normally says the matter is dealt with at the highest level but on my side I need closure. I have suffered a lot. I need assistance.
