The ombudsman is *******!
The ombudsman is totally ******* and biased to the insurance companies. I'm sure there a lot of bribery and *******ion happening in that department. The report I received yesterday from them only make mention what Old Mutual says, nothing about my concerns or my inputs. How is that fair? They are so pathetic, don't even know why they exist! This is pure *******ion, how can a "fair" report only include one side to the story??? I'm sure you get regular bribes from Old Mutual since you always in contact with them, and you hear from us only once, so we mean nothing to you. Guess no one will shut the hand that feeds them.
Dear Nicoleen
Your allegations that the ombudsman's office is ******* and bribed by the insurer are not only offensive, but untrue and baseless. The ombudsman is appointed to serve the interest of both the insuring public and short-term insurers. The ombudsman takes its role as an impartial and independent forum very seriously and deals with each complaint that is lodged with it in this way.
You have not provided a reference number for your matter with us and I can therefore not comment of the merits. However, any ruling made by the Ombudsman is not binding on you the insured. Therefore, if you are not happy with this office's decision, you are still free to look for other ways to continue to challenge the insurer’s decision.
Yours faithfully,
