Short term insurance ombudsman is a useless service for the consumer do not bother yourself with them
After sending the ombudsman clear evidence against king price insurance of voice recordings and vehicle tracking sheets they were still in favor of the insurer. After waiting one year for my case to be solved they neglected all the evidence I had sent to them and soley based their reason on one baseless evidence submitted by king price, which makes you to believe they have a working relationship.

I have had a look at your matter and, at face value, the decision appears sound.
If you are of the view that the merits favour you, you may follow our internal escalation process or take the matter to court.
Our decisions are based on the available evidence, after applying law to the proven facts. You can only succeed if the available evidence dictates such an outcome.

That is the problem, my matter was looked at, "at face value" and it seems no one took the time to listened or scrutinized any of the evidence I had sent. You only took what the insurer responded and app**** that. What is worse is that when I asked for my matter to be escalated the same person who made the first decision is also the same person who refuses escalation. Let the matter be escalated as I am of the view that if this matter is handled the way it should have been the ombudsman would have had a different outcome. In front of everyone viewing on this platform can I ask you Peter Nkhuna to please escalate my matter with the ombudsman.

I am the one who looked at the matter at face value for purposes of responding to your post on this platform. Let us not distort.
You need to request the escalation and specify your reasons for the escalation request. As I indicated previously, there is a process to be followed and it is not via this platform. The escalation is not automatic or guaranteed and must be approved by the CEO.
Please contact forward request through the same channels you have been communicating with the office.
We trust that you will follow the correct process.
Yours faithfully

I would like to thank you very much for your assistance on this platform, even though my matter took long to be finalized I just want to thank you and everyone involved in the escalation of my matter, all I wanted was for my matter to be scrutinized properly which I believe was not done initially and after escalation I won the matter. Please thank everyone involved in the escalation for me and keep up the good work.
