Ombudsman for Short Term Insurance is Useless
Honestly, if you ask me I wouldn’t even advise anyone to approach these people, they don’t put any effort in assessing the matter, you wait for months only for them to rule in favour of the Insurer. Even with the evidence right in front of them. The ombudsman for short term is useless, approach the courts if you have means

We can only decide matters based on the strength of the evidence presented by the parties and the law.
If the evidence does not support a particular outcome, that outcome would be unjustified.
If you believe that you have a valid complaint or that your matter was not handled properly, there is an internal escalation process that you can follow. You may contact the same person that handled your matter to have the matter escalated, and they have to accede to that request.
