Ombudsman / *** Delaying the time frame and Outcome 07.06.24

HI Marc,

My case was referred on the 9th of May by you as per email below, and the 15 working days was yesterday. Now I am being told that the time delay is Monday for Momentum to submit.

This unfounded claim has not only caused me immense emotional pain but have also affected my personal and professional life. I am struggling to cope with the stress, anxiety, and feelings of humiliation that have arisen as a result. The emotional distress has manifested in various ways, impacting my daily life, relationships, and overall sense of security.

My primary goal in sharing this letter/affidavit is to convey the depth of my emotional distress and its impact on my life after this accident and that this is taking forever to get resolved for not being at fault.

This resulted in yesterday as my husband got very sick and I could not take him to hospital as I had no transport and had to phone ALL to get assistance.

Hope this case will be given high priority

See my email regarding my emotional stress and the debit orders.

Then again, my case was now AGAIN REFERRED BY THE ADJUDICATOR.

SEE BELOW:

Dear Mrs Du Plooy,

I trust that this email finds you well.

We refer to the above matter and your previous correspondence, the contents of which have been noted.

As a point of departure, I would like to take this opportunity to give my most sincere apologies for the delay in reverting and further thank you for your patience in this matter.

We submit that the matter has been referred to the Standard Complaints Handling (SCH) department for further investigations and communication regarding the progress thereof will be communicated in due course.

I trust the above is in order.

Kind regards,

Brian Mukoki Adjudicator: Non-life Insurance Division ***

What an absolute disgrace on these people do not comply with their duties.
How many emails, communication and recordings to the Ombudsman need us to send to them on how this claim from Momentum was handled with false information from the assessment company NETASS and there is so many recordings where Momentum is admitting that it is their fault and they have sorted this out Internally but still after weeks you have the guts to send me an email asking to state my case as you have everything that was submitting with you (your administrators Eunine have all the documents, etc.) . And now I must accept their conditions because we are the ones that is sitting with a debit order being paid each month since the 6th of April that this case was started.
This below is clearly not the case as you is not defending my case, I need to fight this case after several concerns was raised. But never the less you are not doing your duties.

And still WE NEED TO PRESENT OUR CASE.

These people are not there for our public assistance.
