Ombudsaman colludes with insurance companies
It is clear from my interaction with this institution that they are clearly in the pockets of the insurance companies whom they are supposed to mediate with on our behalfs.
There first course of action is to say that they have no jurisdiction over the case and suggest I may pursue the litigation path.
This is clear collusion with the insurance companies and placing a financial obstacle in the average persons path before establishing the facts,
Including the fact that they have made false statements purporting to be mine.
Neither the insurance company (ABSA idirect in this case) nor the ombudsman has made any effort to allow me to state my case.

I have had a look at your file. I see that the Assistant Ombudsman sent his preliminary recommendation on Monday and that the file is still open. In the recommendation, you are invited to, within 14 days, provide us with more information if you do not agree with the outcome and would like for it to be escalated.
