It should’nt even exist. Useless ombudsman
Ombudsman for short term insurance must be the beneficiary of insurance. They don’t help but worsen the situation. Straight to the point, i have asked them to persuade IWyze and assist me to object the motor vehicle insurance claim rejection which saw me liable for paying the damages of third party from my pocket. I was paying premiums for ‘mahala’ all these years. Ombusman is useless i must tell you. And I mean useless. They work infavour of your insurer hommie, all they do is to sit and listening to how you were rejected and then take you back to same insurer who rejected to start explaining the same thing. Nothing unique about it’s questioning or investigation they just import what your insurer asked you. USELESS USELESS USELESS AND a waste of time and energy. They just wanna keep you paying even premiums to an insurer who rejected your claim. Useless
Ombudsman will keep you at the edge of the seat with false hopes which will see you continuing to pay your premiums to the insurer who rejected. Useless. They even take years to update you, they ghost you and leave you hanging in there. USELESS. I am dissapointed in how you handle your cases, your communication strategy is fairly poor. Infact you lack effective communication skills. Useless.
Thank you for your feedback.
I am sorry that you have not had a good experience with our office thus far. I have had a look at your matter and I see that we registered your complaint in May, after which we gathered information from your insurer and yourself, which is part of our standard process as we must afford both parties the opportunity to provide information.
I see that the matter is currently with the Assistant Ombudsman for adjudication (we are still investigating your complaint). Nevertheless, I see that you have not been updated recently and I have taken this up with the Case Administrator and Assistant Ombudsman assigned to your case.
Kind regards,
