Disappointed (disgusted) by assistant Ombudsman's finding!
I asked the Ombudsman for Short Term Insurance to intervene in a dispute between myself and Outsurance. The office made a finding on 1 August 2018 in favour of Outsurance. I appealed to your office and brought many factual inaccuracies to your attention. Despite my appeal for a escalation (on numerous occasions), the assistant Ombudsman Nadia Gamieldien chose to review the case herself. She would obviously try to support her findings. After numerous follow up's and additional information, she today again sent me a finding in favour of Outsurance. Again disregarding everything I sent to her. I do not believe any reasonable person could come to this conclusion. I have all the correspondance and even her assistant Janine Jacobs (in this week) telephonically acknowledge that she noticed the address is incorrect. Nadia is and was clearly bias to Outsurance from the start. You will see this in her correspondance. I provided her evidence that Outsurance sent the documents to a wrong address yet she completely disregarded this in her finding. I paid out of pocket for an NSPI approved builder to provide an assessment, yet she completely disregards this in favour of a unqualified expert approved by Outsurance? I am disgusted and dissapointed in your office. I trusted your office to be fair and ethical.
May I please request that an independent Senior Ombudsman please review all the documents. You will see why I am so disgusted, shocked and appalled by this finding. She has now given the Insurer the Ok to lie.
When you review the case I prefer to provide you with all the evidence (documentation) myself (won't introduce anything new) and not via Nadia Gamieldien as she chooses which information to regard and disregard! ref no:- F54/18F
