I do want to add that Mary kept me up to date until recently, and I do understand the backlog of work..... but living in a damp, smelly, mouldy home is no fun at all!!!

Dear Rishma Nyar

We have investigated your complaint and our records reflect that we received your completed Application for Assistance form on 19 May 2016. We then forwarded the insurer's Formal Response to you on 25 May 2016.

You rep**** to the insurer's Formal Response in dribs and drabs between 26 May 2016 and 01 June 2016.

It is accordingly not true or accurate that you have not heard from this office in three months.

With regard to your "damp smelly, mouldy home", we would suggest that you take whatever remedial steps necessary to safeguard yourself and your family. You must just keep records in case same are subsequently required.

We also point out that the outcome of the matter is not guaranteed to be in your favour. Furthermore, as this is a legal matter, it may take a while to resolve, as we have to follow due process.

Our further advices will follow in due course.

Yours faithfully

Peter Nkhuna

Dear Peter, My apologies for sounding so óffish'- I am so frustrated.... I sent a full and complete letter to the office as my response to the repudiation, however I did send in pictures and information as I recieved them- which would probably in dribs and drabs.

Please understand that It is not the Ombud that is frustrating me but the processes......

Regards
