New Vehicle with copy of Original Permit

<p>Hi</p> <p>I bought a car at omars motor den on 14 Feb 2017, the car was brand new and I was given a copy of the Permit( colour printed), I left with the car. On 06 March 2017 I was stopped by a traffic officer who did his inspections on the car and when he checked the permit he realised it was a copy, he then told me that the vehicle is not licenced to be on the road due to the copied Permit, I tried to argue as I didn't understand until he said to that there could be 10 vehicles driving with the same permit, I started realised that he had a point, I then called omars motor den Manager and explain what was happening, he insisted it was original but I could tell myself it was not an original, the manager said I should allow the traffic officer to give me the fine and bring it to him he will pay it off since the fault is theirs, I did that. The fine was R3000. I took it to omars and gave the manager, he promised to sort it out in less than a week, ive been asking him and reminding him almost every two days but he keeps postponing, now the 21 days grace period of the ticket has lapsed and I'm worried that I will be stopped and get arrested if I come across a roadblock. Please assist me in anyway that you can and for all those buying cars there please confirm if the Permit is original not a copy or you will find yourself in my shoes. From Witbank</p>
