Olive and Oil Cascades Pietermaritzburg

My wife and I went out for dinner at Olive and Oil Cascades - Pietermaritzburg on Saturday, 12 November 2022. We ordered a three-course meal, which at face value (and taste) - there was nothing wrong with it. However, both my wife and I woke up extremely ill Sunday morning - throwing up and running tummies the whole day. I called the restaurant and fortunately, got hold of the supervisor who worked Saturday night and remembered our table and what we had ordered. He promised the Manager would call me...but, nothing until now (as at 16 November 2022).

Interestingly, my wife's colleague's sister had also been at the same restaurant about three/four weeks before us...and had ordered the same prawns we ordered. She also fell very ill and even went to hospital.

Considering that we had ordered the same prawns before, and didn't experience any problems - we concluded that there might have been a problem with those either those specific prawns or any of the foods we ordered and shared. We shared the spicy chicken livers, we both ordered rump steak (served differently) and the chocolate desert.

I wish the restaurant had called us to check how we were - and for the sake of other clients. They didnt bother...
