Old Town Italy Menlyn Main - Nightmare Service

For my Birthday dinner last night, 28th October, we possibly had the worst experience ever in a restuarant.

To start off, when we arrived we stood by the entrance waiting to be seated, being ignored for a while. We may well have been part of the decorations...

We ordered two starters of which they brought side sauces for bread which was for one and not two people. We had to ask for more sauce, which was brought.

Secondly, the waitress walks away when we are still talking...like really?

When our main pasta dish was brought, it was dry and not saucy like we asked. The second time it was brought back, the same thing, dry....The 3rd time it was brought back it was drowning in what looked like some cheap packet sauce.

We then said we are now leaving and will pay for starters and drinks only.

The manager then approached us and practically begged us to stay, a bit embarrassing if you ask me?

Additionally, the table setups are literally like sardines in a tin! Extremely uncomfortable.

We left and then went Panarotis, which was the best experience we have had in a long time!

A word of advice for Old Town Italy Menlyn Main, judging by previous reviews on your website and a second bad experience we had, if you don't change your ways you will lose more customers. We certainly will not return!
