Yes you under warranty hours later you not!!!
I bought a Defy washing machine from OK in Ottery November 2015.
The washing machine has now stopped working, I contacted the store yesterday to find out if it still under warranty etc. The guys I spoke to advised me that there is still a warranty he will lodge the claim and the technicians will contact me when they will come out. One thing the guys was very helpful he helped me telephonically asked if he could call me back and did so within a good time frame.
After dealing with him, I decided that I will go into the store just to get the print out and look at buying bed set. They same guy helped me gave me the print out of the invoice and wrote on my invoice the warranty is valid until Nov 2019 and stamped the receipt. After I left the store a few hours passed and I received a call from a lady advising me that the washing machine is not under warranty and they will charge me R450 for call out and for whatever is used to fix the machine, I disputed this as I was just in the store and received documentation that its still under warranty, I requested to speak to someone that has the authorisation to do something about this.
I was placed through to the supervisor who told me they will see what they can do etc. After about an hour I received a call back supervisor advised that there is nothing they can do irrespective of me having the written correspondence stamped with OK Ottery's stamp warranty until November 2019.
This is not what I expected from OK. I bought the washing machine for my mother and father inlaw, who buys all there furniture from OK and still has an active account with you guys. I feel that they should pay up the account and no longer buy from you guys. I am looking out for a queen size bed set however I will not purchase it from any of the OK stores due to this incident.
