Second hand washing machine

We bought a washing machine at OK furniture from them and it seemed to have a problem when it drys, we reported the matter and they came to fix it and said the fanbelt was lose and there was a lose/missing ***** somewhere, after that incident immediately after the machine started liking water from somewhere underneath it drastically , the technician came through and said that something else was broken we asked him what could have been the cause he said it was tied too tight, now we don't want this machine as it clearly is a second hand machine, we want a new machine and they are taking us from pillar to post , this is totally unacceptable because we now have to have to hire someone to do our laundry which is costing us. Ok furniture we don't want a machine that gets fixed every now and then we do not accept it.
