Restonic Bed damaged

I Bought a bed from Ok Furniture, a year later the bed has a hole on the center position of the bed. Then I reported this to the store and they took two months to attend to my complain, therefore an agent from Restonic came to my house to inspect the bed. only to find that the bed is faulty, its a bed not for daily use and i have to pay an amount of R1000. 00 in order for me to get a new bed because the inspector told me that the bed is out of guarantee. I Don't understand why a new bed can be faulty?
