Poor and unacceptable service

<p>On Thursaday 18/08/16 I bought a wooden double bank bed cash at the Ok Furniture shop in Elizabeth Street in Bloemfontein. The bed was delivered on the same day as per the agreement when I made the purchase. However, I had asked that it must come assembled already, but I was informed that it would only be assembled upon delivery as it would be difficult to get it in the house if assembled. To my surprise when I got home the bed was still in boxes and the message left by the delivery staff was that they would come back at 7am the following day as they were chasing other deliveries that afternoon. It is Saturday afternoon now, the bed is still against the wall in the boxes in my house. I called the shop in the morning when I explained, the lady who answered the call had an attitude and I asked her not to yell at me. When I called back with more information as to who was the saleslady that helped me (UserID bsm09), I could not get through. I truly suspect that the lady had blocked my calls cos I indicated I would call back just now. I tried another phone and it went through. The saleslady who assisted with the purchase was surprised to learn that the bed was left unassembled. The guy who was supposed to do it then promised that they would come at 3pm today (upon the insistence of a fellow colleague in the background that it must not be 2pm but 3pm). Up to now no staff of this Ok Furniture has showed up at my house to deliver on their part, as promised. No curtesy call neither if there is any reason for this long delay. </p> <p>This is extremely disappointing and unacceptable as the store was eager to accept my money with no delays from my side. I certainly did not buy the bed to just pack it against the walls in the boxes as currently is the case now!! May I get some response from the store? </p>
